Tavoitteet:
- Diplomityön vaatimuksiin perehtyminen sekä suullisen esitelmän valmisteluun ja pitämiseen harjaantuminen. Samalla opiskelija tutustuu ajankohtaisiin tutkimus- ja tuotekehityssuuntauksiin.

Sisältö:
- Seminaariesitelmiä kulloinkin valmistuvista diplomitöistä sekä muista ajankohtaisista tutkimusaiheista.

Toteutus:
- Opiskelijan on osallistuttava vähintään neljään seminaaritilaisuuteen, joista yhdessä opiskelijan on pidettävä seminaariesitelmä valmistumassa olevasta diplomityöstään. Syksyn 2007 aikana kurssin voi suorittaa vielä aiemmassa laajuudessaan (1 ov), jolloin vaatimuksena on osallistuminen seitsemään seminaaritilaisuuteen, joissa yhdessä on siis pidettävä seminaariesitelmä.
